monday rained down on my parade
sent me down a spiral
in which i lack better words to describe
it’s like i’m slowly suffocating myself with my words
my own thoughts, trapped inside
something so powerful, dangerous to contain
but it has an unmarked label
which bids me to refrain from dictation
the infrastructure of mankind is so delicate
it takes so little to set us off in any direction
throws us off our fragile balance
that which we call sanity
